The pub's floor slopes downhill by about a foot when you walk towards the Tennant Street end. The company had tried to preserve the original features while using a combination of beer-mat wallpaper and old photographs to offer a fresh look at the same time. When it reopened to the public at noon on Thursday, Decemit was Davenports brewery's first pub opening for 30 years. The Bulls Head off Broad Street was only reopened in December 2016 and turned into ' The Garrison Tavern' for a Peaky Blinders' premiere in October 2017. One of Birmingham's historic terracotta pubs has been sold to an unnamed 'investment fund' in a surprise deal - just five years after being transformed by Davenports.
